Vinyl printing in Las Vegas

Custom and large-format vinyl, printed, laminated, cut and installed from our own shop at 4545 W Reno Ave. Wall, window and floor graphics price instantly from your artwork — start a quote — and everything else, from lettering to photo backdrops, is quoted on request.

Printed, finished and installed under one roof

Every vinyl job here runs through the same few steps in the same building. We print it on our UV printer, laminate it if it needs protecting, cut it on the print-and-cut — to a rectangle, to the shape of your artwork, or into lettering — and pack it for pickup, delivery or our install crew. The vinyl isn't sent out to another shop, so the people checking your file are the people printing it and putting it up.

UV printing cures the ink with light the moment it's laid down, so a print comes off the printer dry and goes straight to the laminator or the cutter. The cured ink resists scratching and fading on its own for most indoor work, which is why plenty of indoor wall graphics don't need a laminate at all.

The same printer prints white ink. That's what makes colour work on clear and frosted film: a layer of white behind the artwork keeps colours solid on glass instead of see-through, and white can print as a colour of its own.

What we print on vinyl

Choosing the film

The film decides where a graphic can go, how long it lasts and how it comes off. You don't need to learn a catalog: our quotes ask what you're covering and what the graphic has to do, then recommend the film and say why. The short version:

  • Has to come off clean — removable wall vinyl for painted walls; low-tack vinyl for delicate or freshly painted walls and short events; one-way, frosted and blockout window film; floor graphic vinyl and carpet film.
  • Stays put — permanent vinyl for doors, metal, counters and smooth surfaces that won't change, and clear lettering film on glass.
  • Rough or textured — a conformable high-tack film, worked into knockdown texture, block, brick and raw wood with heat.
  • No adhesive at all — static cling, which holds to the inside of the glass and can come down and go back up.
  • Lit from behind — backlit display film, which spreads the light so the whole print glows.
  • Underfoot — floor graphic vinyl for sealed floors and a conformable film for outdoor concrete, both finished with an anti-slip laminate.

Laminates, cutting and white ink

Laminate is a clear layer over the print. Matte takes the glare off under show lighting and big windows; gloss makes colour punchier and wipes clean; dry-erase turns a wall into a write-on board; anti-graffiti lets paint and marker wipe off exterior and high-traffic walls; an optically clear laminate seals one-way window film against dust and rain; and every hard-floor graphic carries an anti-slip laminate.

Cutting happens on the same machine that prints, so the cut lands where the print is. A graphic can be trimmed to a rectangle, cut to the shape of your artwork along your file's cut line or one we trace, or cut and weeded into lettering — the vinyl between the letters picked away by hand and the letters masked on application tape, so they go up with their spacing intact.

White ink goes behind colours on clear and frosted film so they stay solid. For a graphic on the inside of a window that has to read from the street, we print it reversed, with the white layer behind the colours, so it reads the right way through the glass.

Big graphics print in panels

Vinyl comes on rolls of a fixed width, so a graphic too big to fit across the roll prints in panels. Walls hang in vertical drops that overlap by half an inch, with an extra inch at the outer edges for trimming into corners. Window pieces overlap by a quarter inch. Floor pieces butt edge to edge, because an overlap underfoot is a trip edge.

You don't split the file yourself. Upload the whole wall, window or floor at its size or to scale, and the quote draws every panel and seam on it, warns you if a seam crosses lettering, and lets you drag a seam into open space. Panels come labelled in hanging order, whether our crew installs them or yours does.

Files, proofs and the Artwork check

Send PDF, AI, EPS or SVG for logos and type, and PDF, TIFF, PSD, PNG, JPG or WebP for photos. When you upload to a quote, the Artwork check reads the file at the size you're ordering: it grades every image for sharpness at the distance people will stand, flags missing fonts, screen (RGB) colour and missing bleed, and pins each problem to the spot on the drawing where it happens.

Big graphics are usually designed at scale. Put the scale in the file name — “lobby_10pct.pdf” or “1:10” — and the quote sizes the artwork up for you, visibly and with an undo. The large-format file setup guide covers scale, resolution, bleed and seams in detail.

Nothing prints until you've approved a proof.

Instant quotes and quotes on request

Three products price instantly from your file, any time of day: wall graphics, window graphics and floor graphics. Upload, enter the size, answer a question or two about the surface, and you'll see the price and the panel layout in seconds. Lettering for walls and glass prices in the same wall and window quotes — choose cut lettering.

Stickers, banners, step-and-repeats, backlit prints and signs are quoted on request. Send us the job with the sizes, quantities, where it's going and the date you need it, and attach your artwork if it's ready. We reply with a quote and a proof.

We don't publish a rate card. The price comes from the area, the film, any laminate, cutting or weeding, white ink, panels, installation and turnaround — the vinyl graphics cost guide explains each one.

Pickup, delivery or installed

Pick it up at the shop on W Reno Ave in the southwest valley, have it delivered across Las Vegas, or have our crew install it. Installation is priced with the print: the surface, the height, after-hours or weekend work, and taking it down later if you want us back.

At convention halls, the venue's and the show's rules decide who applies graphics. We print to the venue's spec, label every panel, deliver for move-in and coordinate the install with your show's contractor. The LVCC graphics rules are a good place to start.

Need the panel or the letters themselves cut? Our sister shop The Job Shop cuts panels, shapes and dimensional letters on CNC routers and lasers, and we print the vinyl that goes on them.

Questions we get

Do you do vinyl printing in Las Vegas?

Yes. We're a large-format vinyl print shop at 4545 W Reno Ave, Suite B9, Las Vegas, NV 89118. We print, laminate and cut vinyl for walls, windows, floors, lettering, decals, banners, backdrops and lightboxes, our crew installs it across the valley, and you can price wall, window and floor graphics online from your own file.

Where can I get vinyl printed near me?

Our shop is on W Reno Ave in the southwest Las Vegas valley. Order online or send a request, then pick your print up at the shop, have it delivered across the valley, or have our crew install it.

How much does vinyl printing cost?

It depends on the area, the film, any laminate, cutting or weeding, white ink, how many panels it takes and whether we install it. Wall, window and floor graphics show the price for your exact size as soon as you upload; everything else is quoted from your request. The cost guide explains what moves the number.

How big can you print vinyl?

Walls, windows and floors can be as big as the space. Anything too big to fit across the roll prints in panels — overlapped on walls and glass, butted on floors — and the quote lays them out for your exact size. Single pieces stay a size installers can handle: up to 20 feet long on walls and 12 feet on floors.

What's the difference between printed vinyl and cut vinyl?

Printed vinyl carries a full-colour image — a photo, a gradient, a mural — trimmed to a rectangle or cut to shape. Cut vinyl is letters and shapes with no background, weeded and masked on application tape. We do both on the same print-and-cut, and a lot of jobs mix them.

Will printed vinyl fade in the Las Vegas sun?

Every print fades in desert sun eventually. Outdoor graphics go on films rated for outdoor use, and a laminate adds protection. Rather than promise a number of years, the quote asks how long the graphic needs to stay up and picks the film and finish for that.

What files do you need for vinyl printing?

Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG for logos and type, with fonts outlined; high-resolution TIFF, PSD, PNG, JPG or WebP for photos. Big graphics can be built to scale with the scale in the file name. The file setup guide has the details.
