What do wall, window and floor graphics cost?

There's no honest single number for vinyl graphics: two walls the same size can price very differently depending on the film, the finish and what it takes to install. This guide explains what moves the price, in the order it matters, and how to keep it down. For the real number on your graphic, upload your file — the quote prices your exact size and options in seconds.

Why we don't publish a rate card

A price per area sounds simple, but it hides most of what you pay for. A logo cut from vinyl and a full wall mural can cover the same area and take very different work. A graphic that fits across the roll prints in one piece; one an inch wider splits into two panels with an overlap. A wall you can reach from a ladder is a different job from one that needs a lift.

So instead of a rate card, our quote reads your actual artwork at your actual size and prices it. You see the price of each graphic, any order charges and the total — and if you change the material or the size, the price changes in front of you.

1. Size: the area you're covering

Area is the biggest single driver. Print, ink and laminate are all priced on the area of each graphic, so doubling a wall roughly doubles that part of the price. Bigger orders can work in your favour, though: the quote can apply lower rates as the total area of an order grows, so several graphics ordered together can cost less per graphic than the same graphics ordered one at a time.

Very small orders run into the other end: every graphic and every order has a minimum, because setting up a print run takes the same time whatever its size.

2. The material

Films cost different amounts, and the right one depends on the surface and how long the graphic stays up. The quote recommends one from your answers and says why:

  • Walls — removable vinyl for painted walls, low-tack for delicate or freshly painted walls and short events, a conformable textured-wall film applied with heat for texture, block and brick, and permanent vinyl for surfaces where it stays put.
  • Windows — perforated one-way film, clear vinyl with white ink behind the colours, frosted privacy film, static cling with no adhesive, and blockout vinyl.
  • Floors — floor graphic vinyl for sealed floors, carpet graphic film, and sidewalk and rough-floor vinyl for outdoor concrete.

3. The laminate

A laminate is a clear protective layer over the print. Indoors, our UV-cured inks resist scratching and fading on their own, so many wall graphics don't need one. Matte laminate takes the glare off under show lighting; gloss makes colour punchier; dry-erase turns a wall into a whiteboard; anti-graffiti lets paint and marker wipe off.

Hard-floor and sidewalk graphics always carry an anti-slip laminate — it's part of the product, not an option, so it's in every floor price. One-way window film outdoors can take an optically clear laminate that seals the holes against rain and dirt.

4. Panels, seams and how it fits the roll

Vinyl comes on rolls of a fixed width, so a graphic wider than the roll prints in panels. Wall panels overlap slightly so there's never a gap, and the outer edges carry extra for trimming into corners; floor panels butt together because an overlap would be a trip edge. Every overlap and bleed is material you pay for, and every panel is a piece to cut and hang.

That's why the quote draws your graphic with every seam on it. Sometimes a small change in size, or turning the panels, saves a whole piece — the quote shows you the layout so you can see it.

5. Cutting, weeding and white ink

A plain rectangle is trimmed on the cutter. A graphic cut to the shape of your logo follows a contour, and cut lettering — vinyl letters with no background — has to be weeded by hand, removing every piece of vinyl between the letters before it's masked with application tape. Fine lettering takes longer, so it costs more than a printed panel of the same size.

Clear vinyl needs a layer of white ink behind the colours so they stay bright on glass, and graphics applied inside the glass are printed mirrored with a white underbase. Both add ink and printing time.

6. Installation

If we install, the price depends on the surface — painted walls, glass, floors, textured walls and specialty surfaces each take different time — and on access. Work above ladder height needs a lift, which adds equipment and time. Installs that must happen after hours or on a weekend cost more than weekday work, and there's a minimum for any install visit. If you'd like us to come back and take the graphic down later, that's priced in too.

Some installs are estimates the shop confirms with you before you pay: jobs that need a lift, union-venue work, specialty surfaces and very large installs. If you install the graphics yourself, choose pickup or delivery and the install charge disappears from the quote.

7. Design, delivery, turnaround and tax

  • Design help — if your file isn't ready to print or you need artwork built, design time is added and shown on the quote.
  • Delivery — delivery is a separate line unless we're installing, when there's no separate delivery charge.
  • Turnaround — the date you need it can change the price; the quote shows the options for your dates.
  • Sales tax — Nevada sales tax is added where it applies. If you're buying for resale or you're tax-exempt, your certificate on file removes it.

What moves the price, by product

  • A laminate, if you want one
  • Cutting to shape or cut lettering instead of a rectangle
  • How many panels the wall needs

Why online sticker-and-banner carts look cheaper

Fixed-size online carts can show a price before you upload anything because the size, the material and the finish are fixed, nothing is checked, and nobody installs it. That's fine for a standard banner. For a wall, a window or a floor, the size is yours, the surface decides the film, and a file that's too low-resolution at mural size is a problem you want to find before it's printed.

Our quote checks every image in your file at the size you're ordering, flags problems such as missing bleed or fonts, and shows you a proof before anything prints. The price you approve is for exactly what you saw.

How to keep the price down

  • Send a print-ready file — vector logos and type, images large enough for the size, bleed included. It avoids design time and proof rounds.
  • Skip the laminate indoors when the wall doesn't need it; UV inks hold up on most indoor walls.
  • Order together — several graphics in one order share the setup and can qualify for lower area rates.
  • Check the panel drawing — a small size change can save a whole panel.
  • Plan the install window — weekday, ladder-height work costs less than after-hours or lift work.
  • Install it yourself if the job is simple; panels come labelled in hanging order.

Questions we get

How much do wall graphics cost?

It depends on the wall's area, the vinyl, any laminate, how many panels it takes and what the install involves. Upload your file to the wall graphics quote and you'll see the price for your wall, with the panel layout, in seconds.

How much does a wall wrap cost?

A wall wrap is priced like any wall graphic: by area, material, laminate and panels, plus installation if we put it up. The quote prices your exact wall from your artwork, so you see the number before you commit.

How much do floor decals cost?

Floor decals are priced by area, the surface they go on (sealed floor, carpet or rough concrete), cutting to shape, the number of pieces and installation. The anti-slip laminate on hard-floor decals is always included.

How much do window graphics cost?

It depends on the glass area, the film — one-way, clear, frosted, static cling or blockout — white ink behind the colours on clear film, any cut lettering, and installation access. The window graphics quote prices your glass from your file.

Why do two quotes for the same size differ?

Because size is only one factor. The material, laminate, how the graphic splits into panels, cutting and weeding, install height, after-hours work and turnaround all change the price. The quote shows each graphic's price so you can compare like for like.

Do you charge sales tax on vinyl graphics?

Nevada sales tax is added where it applies and shown on the quote. If you're buying for resale or you're tax-exempt, send us your certificate and it's removed once it's on file.

Is installation included in the price?

Only if you choose it. The quote asks whether you want us to install, and how high and when; if you'd rather install yourself, choose pickup or delivery and there's no install charge.
