Three floors, three materials
The floor decides the film. A sealed concrete lobby, a hotel ballroom's carpet and a sidewalk outside a store each need something different to stay down, stay safe and come up again. Tell the quote what you're covering and how long it needs to last, and it picks the material and says why:

Anti-slip on every hard-floor graphic
Every floor graphic we print on vinyl — for sealed floors, show floors, tile, wood, concrete or pavers — is finished with a textured anti-slip laminate. It isn't an upgrade and you can't turn it off: we don't sell hard-floor or sidewalk graphics without it. The same layer takes the scuffing from shoes and carts, so the print underneath stays intact.
Carpet graphic film is the one exception. It's made to grip carpet pile and goes down without a laminate.
If your venue, landlord or safety team asks for slip-resistance paperwork, tell us when you order and we'll tell you what we can supply for the laminate before you commit.
Butt seams, never overlaps
On a wall, panels overlap so there's never a gap. On a floor, an overlap is a raised edge that catches toes, wheels and cleaning pads — so floor pieces butt together edge to edge instead. Pieces also stay at 12 feet or shorter, so they lie flat and go down without trapping air.
A logo, an arrow or a shape that fits across the roll prints as one piece; the quote only splits a graphic when it has to. Before you order, it draws your floor with every piece on it, so you can see where each seam falls and keep it off faces and lettering.
Designing for people looking down
A floor graphic is read in passing, from standing height, by someone who's also watching where they're going. Big, simple shapes work; long sentences don't. Arrows, logos, a single word and strong contrast against the floor colour do the most.
The quote grades every image in your file against that viewing distance — about four feet up close, eight feet typical — at the size you're ordering, and boxes anything that will look soft. Vector logos and type stay sharp at any size.
Floor graphics at Las Vegas venues
Convention venues decide where floor graphics can go and who puts them down, and the rules differ by building and by show. A few, from the venues' and shows' own documents:
- Venetian Expo — every floor cling needs the Expo Event Manager's approval and an approved material. Floor clings can't go in front of escalator or stair landings or door thresholds, damaged or peeling clings must be replaced, and the general contractor installs and removes them; the meeting planner pays for any damage.
- Las Vegas Convention Center — on the polished concrete in the West Hall Atrium and North Lobby, only blue painter's tape is allowed (LVCC Facility Guide, July 2026, p. 28).
- MAGIC Las Vegas — floor decals must be printed on approved material and installed and removed by the exhibitor-appointed contractor, leaving no residue (MAGIC exhibitor information).
- AAPEX — floor covering left adhered to the floor is removed at the exhibitor's expense (AAPEX 2026 Display Rules).
- SEMA Show — nothing can be affixed to carpet, concrete or pavement without written approval from show management and the facility (SEMA 2026 Exhibitor Rules).

Inside a booth or in public areas: who installs
In public areas — lobbies, concourses, aisles — the venue controls the floor. At Venetian Expo, the general contractor installs and removes every cling. Plan for your graphic to be approved first and applied by the venue's contractor.
Inside your booth, the show's labour rules decide. At AAPEX, for example, Teamsters Local 631 — through its agreement with Freeman — has jurisdiction over wall and floor coverings unless your own full-time staff do the work; at MAGIC, floor decals go down through the exhibitor-appointed contractor. We print to the approved-material and approval rules and deliver for move-in, with pieces labelled in order so whoever installs them can work quickly. The full list, with what to send for approval, is in our floor graphics rules guide.
Outside convention halls — offices, retail, restaurants, hotel and casino floors with the property's approval, and event spaces where it's allowed — our crew installs.

How long they last and how they come up
Floor graphics are made for weeks to months of foot traffic, not years. Carpet film is for the run of a show or event. If a graphic needs to stay down longer — a permanent wayfinding path, a store's entrance logo — we'll plan a replacement schedule with you rather than promise one print will last.
Floor graphic vinyl and carpet film come up clean. Sidewalk and rough-floor vinyl is worked into the surface with heat, and it comes up with heat too. Choose “take it down later” in the quote if you'd like our crew to lift it at the end; see installation for how that's scheduled.
What moves the price
Floor graphics range from one logo to a whole booth floor, so there's no single rate. Upload your file with the floor size and the quote prices it — these are the things that change it:
- The floor area
- The surface (sealed floor, carpet, rough concrete)
- Cutting to shape
- How many pieces it takes
- Installation and removal
- Turnaround
Questions we get
Do you print floor graphics in Las Vegas?
Yes. We print floor graphics and decals at our shop at 4545 W Reno Ave for events, trade shows, retail, offices and hotel and casino floors, with an anti-slip laminate on every hard-floor piece. You can price them online from your own artwork with the floor graphics quote.
How much do floor decals cost?
It depends on the floor area, the surface (sealed floor, carpet or rough concrete), cutting to shape, how many pieces it takes and whether we install it. Start a quote with the size and your file and you'll see the price for your floor, with the layout drawn out.
How long do floor decals last?
Weeks to months, depending on foot traffic, cleaning and the surface. Carpet film is made for the run of a show. For anything meant to stay down longer, we'll plan a replacement schedule with you rather than promise one print will hold up.
Are floor graphics slip-resistant?
Every vinyl floor graphic we print — on sealed floors, show floors, concrete and pavers — carries a textured anti-slip laminate, and we don't sell them without it. Carpet film is made for carpet pile and goes down without a laminate. If your venue needs slip-resistance paperwork, ask when you order.
Can floor graphics go on carpet?
Yes, on carpet graphic film, which grips low-pile carpet on show floors and in lobbies for short runs and peels up without residue. Choose carpet as the surface in the quote and it switches to that film.
Can floor graphics go anywhere in a convention venue?
No. Venues and shows set limits. Venetian Expo, for example, bars floor clings in front of escalator or stair landings and door thresholds and requires approval for every cling. Our floor graphics rules guide collects the rules we've found, with sources.
Will floor graphics damage the floor?
Floor graphic vinyl and carpet film are made to come up clean from sealed floors and carpet. Sidewalk vinyl is heated into rough concrete and removed with heat. Lift graphics when the event or promotion ends — the longer one stays down under traffic and cleaning, the more work it is to remove.
How can I get custom floor decals?
Upload your artwork to the floor graphics quote, enter the size and choose the surface. You'll see the price, the pieces and any file problems straight away; save the quote and we confirm the files, send a proof, and print once you approve and pay.
