Frosted and privacy window film in Las Vegas

The etched-glass look for office fronts, conference rooms, storefronts, restrooms and glass doors — light comes through, a clear view doesn't. Cut into bands, logos and patterns or printed in colour at our shop on W Reno Ave, and installed by our crew. Upload your design to the window graphics quote and choose “Privacy”.

What frosted film does

Frosted film is a translucent vinyl that makes clear glass look sandblasted or etched. Daylight and room light still pass through, so a frosted conference room stays bright, but shapes behind the glass blur and nobody sees in clearly. It goes on the glass like any window film and, unlike etched glass, comes off clean when the office layout changes.

It's the film for privacy that doesn't wall a room in: office fronts and sidelights, conference and huddle rooms, treatment and exam rooms, restroom and locker-room windows, ground-floor storefronts that face a parking lot, and full-height glass that people need to notice before they walk into it.

Full frost, bands, logos and patterns

Cut designs follow the shapes in your file, so send vector artwork — PDF, AI, EPS or SVG — with any text converted to outlines. The quote shows your design on a drawing of your glass before anything is cut.

  • Full frost — the whole pane covered, edge to edge. The most privacy, and the simplest install.
  • Privacy band — a frosted strip across the glass at eye level, leaving clear glass above and below so the room still feels open. Set the band where the eyes are: lower for rooms where people sit, higher where they stand.
  • Logo cut out of the frost — the film covers the glass and your logo or room name is cut out of it, so it shows as clear glass. Or the reverse: a frosted logo, lettering or room number on clear glass.
  • Patterns — stripes, lines, dots or a pattern of your own cut from the film, for partial privacy with a lot of design.
  • Printed frost — your logo or artwork printed in colour on frosted film, with white ink behind the colours so they read solid on the glass.

Pricing frosted film online

Frosted film prices instantly in the window graphics quote. Upload your design and enter the glass size — or, for plain full frost, choose “No file yet? Start with a size” — then answer “What should the glass do?” with Privacy. The quote recommends frosted glass film, draws it on your glass and prices it.

For a band, a logo cut-out or a pattern, choose how it's cut in the material options: cut to shape follows your artwork's outline, and cut lettering cuts and weeds letters and fine shapes and masks them on application tape so the spacing holds.

Need the design drawn up — a band at a set height, your logo knocked out of the frost, room names along a row of doors? Send us the glass sizes and your logo and we'll lay it out for you to approve.

Inside the glass, and which way it reads

Frosted film is an indoor film. On a storefront or an exterior window it goes on the inside of the glass, out of the weather. On glass between two rooms, either side works; put it on the side that gets touched and cleaned less.

A cut or printed design reads backwards from the far side of the glass. Tell the quote which side the film goes on; when it's on the inside and has to read from the street or the hallway, we print or cut it reversed so it reads correctly from there.

Big glass and seams

Floor-to-ceiling glass and long office fronts are often wider than the roll. The film then goes on in pieces with a narrow overlap, and on frosted film an overlap shows as a fine line. The quote draws every piece on your glass, so you can see where the seams fall and drag one to line up with a mullion, a door edge or a line in your design.

Measure each pane inside its frame, not the whole wall of glass. Film is trimmed to each pane, so the frames and mullions become part of the design. Leave room around door hardware, push plates and locks.

Installation, cleaning and removal

Our crew cleans the glass, applies the film, trims it to each pane and squeegees it flat. Office installs can be scheduled after hours or on a weekend so the space keeps working — tell the quote, and add a lift if the glass runs above ladder height. More on how installs work: installation.

Clean frosted film with mild soapy water and a soft cloth or squeegee — no abrasive pads, and no blades near the edges. When the layout changes, the film comes off the glass clean; choose “take it down later” on the quote if you'd like us to remove it.

Rather put it up yourself? Choose pickup or delivery. Pieces come labelled in order, and cut designs come masked on application tape with their spacing set.

Privacy film, not window tint

Frosted film is a decorative privacy film. It softens glare a little, but it isn't a solar-control or heat-rejection film, and we don't sell or install window tint or solar films. If heat through the glass is the main problem, a window-tint specialist is the right call. If the glass needs privacy, branding or a design, that's our work.

Need full-colour graphics people can see out through instead? That's perforated window film. Only lettering on clear glass? See vinyl lettering. Wondering whether a no-adhesive cling would do? Read window clings vs decals.

What moves the price

Frosted film is priced for your glass, not from a rate card. These are the things that change it:

  • The glass area
  • The film (one-way, clear, frosted, static cling, blockout)
  • White ink behind the colours on clear film
  • Cut lettering and application tape
  • Installation, height and access
  • Turnaround

Questions we get

Do you install frosted window film in Las Vegas?

Yes. We cut and print frosted privacy film at our shop at 4545 W Reno Ave and our crew installs it on office fronts, conference rooms, storefronts, restrooms and glass doors across Las Vegas. Price it online with the window graphics quote — choose “Privacy”.

Can people see through frosted window film?

Not clearly. Light comes through and shapes blur, so nobody sees into the room. At night, with the room lit and the outside dark, someone standing right against the glass can show as a soft silhouette; where that matters, use blockout film on that part of the glass.

Is frosted film the same as privacy window film?

Frosted is one kind of privacy film: light through, no clear view. Blockout vinyl hides the view and the light completely. One-way perforated film puts a graphic on the outside and keeps a view out from inside. The window quote asks what the glass should do and recommends one.

Can you cut our logo into frosted film?

Yes. We can cut your logo out of the frost so it shows as clear glass, or cut a frosted logo to go on clear glass, and we can print it in colour on frosted film too. Send the logo as a vector file — PDF, AI, EPS or SVG.

Does frosted window film reduce heat?

It isn't made to. It's a decorative privacy film, not a solar-control film, so we don't quote heat-rejection figures for it — and we don't sell or install window tint or solar films. It softens glare a little and keeps the room bright.

Does frosted film go on the inside or outside of the glass?

The inside. It's an indoor film, so on exterior windows and storefronts it goes on the inside of the glass. If the design should read from the other side, we print or cut it reversed.

Will frosted window film leave residue on the glass?

It's made to come off glass clean. Choose “take it down later” on the quote if you'd like our crew to remove it when the layout changes.
