Printed and cut on one machine
Our printer prints the artwork and then cuts around it, so the cut lands where the print is — around a logo, along the edge of a badge, or as a neat rounded rectangle. There's no hand trimming, and every sticker in a run comes out the same shape.
The cut follows a cut line drawn in your file. If your artwork doesn't have one, we trace a line a small distance outside the artwork's shape and show it on the proof, so you see exactly where the edge will be before anything prints.
Stickers, decals and cut lettering
- Stickers are small printed pieces — logos, giveaways, labels — cut to shape and peeled off a backing.
- Decals are the same printed vinyl at a bigger scale, made to go on a wall, window, door, counter or piece of equipment. Large wall and window decals price instantly in the wall graphics and window graphics quotes — choose “cut to shape”.
- Cut lettering is letters and shapes with no background at all. The vinyl between the letters is weeded away and the lettering comes masked on application tape, so it goes on in one piece with the spacing intact: hours on a door, a name on a wall, numbers on equipment. Because it's cut along the shapes in your file, it needs vector artwork.
Which vinyl, which finish
Most stickers and equipment labels go on permanent vinyl — a long-life adhesive made for metal, glass, plastic and smooth painted surfaces that stay put, indoors or out. Decals for a wall that has to come back clean go on removable wall vinyl instead. For glass, clear vinyl puts only your artwork on the window.
White ink on clear. On clear vinyl, colours are see-through unless white ink is printed behind them. We print a white layer behind the artwork so the colours stay solid — or leave it out on purpose for a tinted, stained-glass look. White can also be printed as a colour of its own, for white lettering on clear film on a dark window or a black case.
Laminate. A matte or gloss laminate over the print adds scuff and fade protection for stickers that get handled, wiped down or left outside. Gloss makes colours punchier; matte cuts glare.
Decals for events, shows and businesses
Where custom decals earn their keep — and one venue rule to know first: the Las Vegas Convention Center doesn't allow stickers on its property, so giveaway stickers belong in attendees' hands, not on the building.
- Giveaway logo stickers for a booth, registration desk or swag bag
- Sponsor decals for stage fronts, podiums and tables
- Equipment, case and asset labels
- Door, suite and room numbers
- Hours, phone and website lettering on glass — see window graphics
- Floor decals for queues and wayfinding, always with an anti-slip finish — see floor graphics

Setting up your sticker file
Send vector artwork — PDF, AI, EPS or SVG — when you can. Logos and type stay sharp at any size, and cut lettering needs it. Put your cut line on its own layer as a single closed path in a named spot colour, and we'll cut along it. No cut line? We'll trace one around your artwork and show it on the proof.
If the artwork runs right to the edge of the sticker, extend the background a little past the cut line, so a tiny shift in the cut never shows a sliver of white. Keep text and thin lines a little way inside the edge for the same reason.
Photos and other raster files — PNG, JPG, TIFF, PSD — print well as stickers if they have enough pixels for the size you order; we'll flag anything that will print soft. For the general rules of vinyl file setup, see The Job Shop's vinyl file setup guide.
How to order
Stickers and small decals are quoted on request. Send us your artwork with the size, how many you need, where they'll go (indoors or out, and on what surface) and the date you need them. We reply with a quote and a proof; you approve it, pay, and we print and cut.
Pick them up at the shop on W Reno Ave or have them delivered in Las Vegas. If you'd rather we design them, send your logo and the words and we'll lay them out for you to approve.
What moves the price
Stickers and decals are priced from the job. What changes it:
- The size of each piece and how many you need
- The vinyl — permanent, removable or clear — and any laminate
- White ink behind colours on clear vinyl
- Cut to shape, or cut lettering (weeding is hand work)
- Design help, if the artwork needs building
- Turnaround, and pickup or delivery
Questions we get
Do you print custom stickers in Las Vegas?
Yes. We print and cut custom vinyl stickers and decals at our shop at 4545 W Reno Ave — logo stickers, labels, sponsor decals and cut lettering. Send your artwork with the size and quantity for a quote.
How much does a custom decal cost?
It depends on the size, the quantity, the vinyl and any laminate, white ink on clear vinyl, and whether it's cut to shape or weeded lettering. Send your artwork and those details and we'll quote it; large wall and window decals price instantly in the wall and window quotes.
Where can I get stickers printed in Las Vegas?
At Vegas Visual, 4545 W Reno Ave in the southwest valley. Send your artwork online, approve the proof, and pick the stickers up at the shop or have them delivered in Las Vegas.
Can you print white ink on clear stickers?
Yes. We print white behind the artwork so colours stay solid on clear vinyl, or as a colour of its own for white lettering on clear. Leave it out and the colours look tinted, like stained glass — sometimes that's the look you want.
What's the difference between a decal and a sticker?
Mostly size and where it goes. Stickers are small and handed out or stuck on products and gear; decals are bigger and applied to a wall, window, door, counter or case. Both are printed vinyl, cut to shape.
Can you cut stickers to the shape of my logo?
Yes. Every sticker is cut on the same machine that prints it, along the cut line in your file or a line we trace around your logo. The proof shows the cut line before anything prints.
Can vinyl decals go outside?
Yes, on permanent vinyl, which is made for sun and weather on smooth surfaces. A laminate adds fade and scuff protection. Removable wall vinyl and static cling are indoor materials.
