NAB Show 2027 graphics: booth rules, sign rules and printing

NAB Show 2027 runs April 3–7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with exhibits April 4–7 in the West, Central and North halls — about two weeks earlier in April than the 2026 show. NAB hasn't posted its 2027 exhibitor schedule yet, but its rules page, still labelled 2026, and the LVCC's own rules spell out where booth graphics, signs and flooring can go and who puts them up. Here they are, with the dates to check, and how we print for them in Las Vegas.

NAB Show 2027 dates, and the deadlines still to come

NAB has published the 2027 dates: conferences and workshops April 3–7 and the show floor April 4–7, at the LVCC, 3150 Paradise Road. It has also published April 23–26 for 2028 and April 8–11 for 2029, which helps when you're planning graphics to reuse across editions.

The exhibitor deadlines aren't out yet. The exhibitor services kit's landing page already describes the April 3–7, 2027 show, but when we checked in October 2026 its schedule-and-deadlines page still showed the 2026 show. Here is how that 2026 clock ran. The 2027 show opens about two weeks earlier in April, so use these to plan the order of the work, not the dates.

West, Central and North halls

NAB places exhibitors by product category, and for 2027 it says the mapping is largely the same as 2026. West Hall holds AI and machine learning, cloud computing and storage, streaming, ad tech, asset management and automation, the Sports Theater and startups. Central Hall holds cameras and camera support, audio, lighting and grip, digital signage and display systems, the Creator Lab, Futures Park and transmission. North Hall holds acquisition, editing, graphics, post-production and production, the Main Stage and the Broadcast Engineering and IT (BEIT) Conference.

For graphics, the hall sets the height. NAB's 2026 rules let island and split-island booths reach 30 feet in the North and West halls but only 25 feet in Central, and the same limit applies to the top of a hanging sign. If a booth may land in a different hall from one edition to the next, design its tallest graphics to the lower number. The building's rules for walls, glass and tape are on our LVCC graphics page.

NAB's booth rules that shape your graphics (2026 overview)

NAB's rules page was still labelled as the 2026 overview when we checked. The parts that change what you print:

  • Linear, corner and perimeter booths: displays up to 8 feet in the rear half of the booth and 4 feet in the front half, products and materials included; perimeter booths can reach 12 feet in the rear half. No hanging signs or truss.
  • Facing the neighbours: in a linear booth, company logos, branding or signage may not face into an adjoining booth, on either side or behind, and unfinished back walls must be draped. In a split island, back walls facing a neighbour must be finished in a neutral colour with no text or graphics.
  • Islands: walls visible from an aisle must be finished. Hanging signs and truss are allowed directly over your contracted space; double-sided signs are set back 10 feet, and single-sided graphics may only face into the booth. Split islands can't hang truss.
  • Truss and video walls are allowed only in islands larger than 400 square feet, need wet-stamped drawings from a licensed U.S. engineer, and truss plans go to LVCVA Fire and Safety 90 days ahead. Freeman is the exclusive rigging and video wall provider.
  • Booths of 800 square feet or more submit design and technical renderings, and every multi-level or covered booth goes to LVCVA Fire and Safety, whatever its size.
  • Drape isn't a display fixture: products and signs can't be attached to it, but a banner can hang from the pipe on S-hooks.
  • Light and projection: logos, gobos and lights may not shine outside the booth, onto the ceiling, the aisles, the facility's walls or the booths next door.
  • Floor covering — carpet or professional flooring — is mandatory over the entire booth and isn't included with the space; area rugs are unacceptable.
  • Promotion stays inside your booth, and nothing is left in aisles, on conference tables or in other public areas.

What that means for your order

Linear booths: the back wall carries the brand, but only up to 8 feet, and everything in the front half — counters and kiosks included — stays under 4 feet. Print the faces that look onto the aisle and keep anything that faces a neighbour unbranded. Wall graphics printed to your panel sizes, with seams kept off faces and lettering, are the usual answer; the wall graphics quote shows the panels before you order.

Islands: design hanging sign graphics to face into the booth unless the sign is set back 10 feet, and size everything to your hall's height limit. Print a hanging sign's graphics to the warehouse date the 2027 kit sets, not to move-in. Banners covers materials and finishing.

Floors: flooring is mandatory anyway, so branding underfoot belongs on that flooring, not the hall's. Ask show management what they'll accept; our floor graphics carry an anti-slip laminate on every hard-floor piece and butt together without a trip edge. See floor graphics.

Lit graphics and backdrops: at the LVCC, illuminated signs and booth lighting are electricians' work unless permanently built into the booth, so a backlit header or lightbox needs that labor in the plan. A step and repeat for interviews and creator content stands inside your booth like any other display, within its height limit.

Who installs graphics in your booth

NAB's work rules split trade-show labor at the LVCC among three unions: Teamsters for material handling and rigging; carpenters for building and dismantling booths, including draping, flooring and non-electrical signage; and electricians for power, illuminated signs and booth lighting, and for rigging hanging signs, video walls, LED screens, truss and anything secured to the ceiling. Freeman, the official service contractor, resolves jurisdiction disputes.

Exhibitors' own full-time employees, carrying identification, can do a defined list of tasks. In booths under 250 square feet they can put up a tool-free, ladder-free pop-up one person can carry, and lay carpet; over 250 square feet both need labor, and mounting monitors always does. Exhibitors may install a non-electric sign attached to a display but not a hanging sign or truss: Freeman rigs every hanging sign, with a chain hoist for anything over 200 pounds. Exhibitors may not use ladders; EACs may use their own if they follow union safety guidelines.

Outside contractors register as EACs — for 2026, by April 10 — with a certificate of insurance approved by show management and a current ESCA license for the LVCC, wear the ESCA badge on site and can't perform work designated exclusive. We print to the show's spec, label every panel for the installer, deliver for move-in and coordinate the install with your EAC or the show's contractor.

Getting graphics to the LVCC

At NAB Show, material handling comes with indoor booth space rather than as an option, and Freeman is the exclusive material handler, managing the freight docks and scheduling every vehicle into the material handling areas. Late arrival at the warehouse and a missed target date both carry extra charges, and shipments from third-party vendors are billed to the exhibitor separately from the package — so a graphics delivery should be labelled for your booth and timed to your target.

Small pieces can be hand-carried by your own staff: from a privately owned car, minivan, SUV or pickup, through the hand-carry entrances and unloading areas in Freeman's kit, with a personal luggage or office-supply dolly but no hand carts. That covers small items such as cartons and packages; anything else is material handling. The LVCC itself accepts no shipments for exhibitors. Rolled graphics should travel boxed with the booth number on them, and Innovate 3D's NAB Show exhibit guide covers freight for full booths.

The LVCC's rules underneath NAB's

The building adds its own layer. At the LVCC, wall clings need your convention service manager's approval in advance, use approved materials only, and are installed and removed by the official service contractor or an approved vendor; adhesive-backed material isn't allowed on painted walls. Anything outside your booth — a lobby cling, a column wrap, a lightbox — is public-area advertising bought through the show, which gives you the spec and the deadline.

LVCC lightboxes take a print 60 inches wide by 60 inches high, with 58 by 58.75 inches visible through the opening, delivered to the LVCVA Sign Shop, which needs at least five business days to install them. See LVCC lightbox graphics and the LVCC graphics page for glass, tape and floor rules.

The same week as ISC West

NAB Show's April 3–7 overlaps ISC West, which runs April 5–9, 2027 at Venetian Expo. If your company exhibits at both, or shares installers and freight between them, lock the files for both shows early and plan deliveries to two campuses in the same week. See our ISC West graphics page.

A printer across town helps with the changes that come late at a show built around new gear: a renamed product, a partner logo, a panel damaged in transit. Tell us your booth's target time when you order, and we'll confirm what's possible for your dates before you count on it.

Ordering NAB Show graphics

Upload your artwork to the wall, window or floor quote to see how it prints at your size and what it costs. For hanging sign graphics, banners, backdrops and signs, send us the booth details: the hall, booth number and type, height limit and the deadline you're working to. See trade show graphics for how we print and deliver for booths, installation for what our crew does off the show floor, and the shows page for other Las Vegas deadlines.

Questions we get

Do you print NAB Show graphics in Las Vegas?

Yes. We print NAB Show booth graphics — wall panels, counter wraps, floor graphics for your booth's flooring, hanging sign graphics, banners and backdrops — at our shop at 4545 W Reno Ave, to NAB's and the LVCC's rules, and deliver them to the show contractor's warehouse or the LVCC at your target time.

When is NAB Show 2027?

April 3–7, 2027, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with exhibits April 4–7 in the West, Central and North halls. NAB has also published April 23–26 for 2028 and April 8–11 for 2029.

When are NAB Show 2027 graphics due?

NAB hadn't posted its 2027 exhibitor schedule when we checked in October 2026, so check the exhibitor services kit. For 2026, Freeman's graphics deadline was March 6, its warehouse received from March 19, and every booth had to be set by 2 PM on April 18, the day before the show opened.

Can my booth's logos face the neighbouring booth at NAB Show?

No. NAB's rules say company logos, branding or signage in a linear booth may not face into an adjoining booth, on either side or behind, and split-island back walls facing a neighbour must be finished in a neutral colour with no text or graphics.

Who hangs signs at NAB Show?

Freeman, the exclusive rigging provider. Exhibitors may install a non-electric sign attached to their display, but not a hanging sign or truss, and a chain hoist is required for anything over 200 pounds. Linear booths can't hang signs or truss at all.

Do NAB Show booths need flooring?

Yes. NAB's rules make carpet or professional floor covering mandatory over the entire booth, not included with the space, and area rugs don't count. Any floor graphic belongs on that covering — ask show management before you order one.

Can I hand-carry graphics into NAB Show?

Your own staff can hand-carry small items such as cartons and packages from a car, minivan, SUV or pickup, using a personal luggage or office-supply dolly but no hand carts, through the hand-carry entrances in Freeman's kit. Anything else is material handling, which is Freeman's alone.
